Recording doesn't due the song justice

The song is good, but the recording doesn't do it any justice whatsoever. Try putting separate mics on each instrument, it'll work wonders for you.

Now try it again with 16 bit sound. I'm willing to bet it'd sound so much better if we weren't missing half the song. It's neat and all, but if you give us the whole drum and guitar in the back, it'd sound even better.
